Boating with the family!

Oh how nice it is to have fun with family again!! We have been busy, busy with family but alot of fun. The kids love playing with there cousins and I love seeing my siblings. This boating trip was at a pretty place called Walcot just outside Burly, Idaho. Terrence is at the front of the boat, Dave (brother-in-law) is driving, Braden hanging on with the hat backwards, J.D. pointing, Steven in orange, and Scott in the red life vest.

This is a fun picture of my sister Amanda playing with little baby Cody. He is such a cooer!

Maddyson with her cousins Steven and Jordan. These are 3 our 6 year old group of cousins. My sister and I all had babies with in a year.

That is kind of a funny face.

She loves this swimming suite and would wear it all day everyday if I let her.

Outer Banks

We have spent the last 5 days in North Carolina because Terrence had some work over in Greenville. While we were there we decided to take a day to check out the outer banks and we really enjoyed it. One day was not near enough time to see everything we wanted to see. Our first stop was to a ship called the Elizabeth which had workers aboard who talked and dressed for the time period of the ship. They answered all the kids questions and put up with the kids going back and forth and up and down the stairs. On shore they had replicas set up of the camps the men would set up when they reached shore and workers dressed up their as well. Everything was very hands on and open which made life easier for me because I didn't have to tell the kids to stop touching things every 5 seconds. The museum was awesome and the same hands on kid friendly environment. One of the greatest parts was all the kids were free so we paid 8 dollars for all of us to enjoy this nice place.

oooops this isn't the ship. This was a different ship across the way.
This was the pirate portion of the museum, and every section had clothes and hats for the kids to dress up in.

Maddyson striking a pose on the lower deck of the ship.

Scott playing a game called 9 pin or I believe they also called it skittle. He loved it because it was a lot like bowling and he loves bowling.

Checking out the ship.

Life is good!

I am a slacker when it comes to bogging but maybe someday life will slow down a little. No who am I kidding, life just keeps going faster everyday. There ia always Laundry to be done, dishes to wash, floors to vacuum, clothes to go through, surfaces to dust, and bills to pay. I am sure I left out a few hundred other things but that covers most of my life. But at least through it all I have 4 beautiful children to remind me why I do what I do. Then it makes all of the chores worth it. And besides in about 3 more years or so they will start pulling their weight as well. Won't that be nice! So anyway here are some pictures of my kids being well, kids!

Our fist family picture with Cody! What I love the most is that this captures how life really is.

This is one of my favorite times, when my baby starts to smile a goo. He is so preciouse!

Crazy Scott with a nice pink stain on his undershirt. Koolaid is a killer!

McKayl with her super curls. The humidity helps alot with that.

Maddyson our little model. She is almos done with kindergarten and boy are we ready for summer! No More Alarm Clock!!!!!!!!

Pregnancy pictures

Well I wasn't sure we were going to get these pictures done, but Terrence decided Saturday to pull out his stuff and set up a mock studio in the Garage. I have asked him a few times about taking maternity pictures but life just gets busy so I was glad we actually did it. It was fun! I am always glad my husband is the one behind the camera because if it were anyone else I would not have been as comfortable.

I think this last one is my favorite shot. I am not quite sure why but I do really like it!

Little Missionary

I just had to post this cute picture of Scott hanging out with the missionaries. He loves these guys and hopefully he will follow in their footsteps. These guys are great and we have the pleasure of having them in our home quite a bit. We are going to miss Elder Anderson and Elder Ketchum when they leave. I think this is one of my favorites and I will be hanging it in his room for him to see often.

Let it snow!

The kids were so excited to see snow when we got out of church Sunday!! They could not wait to go out a throw a snowball and they did several times. Of course the snow was super wet and all out snow clothes are in Idaho but we had a fun time for a little bit. We got wet fast! It snowed from about 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and there was no school today, YAY!!

The kids so proud of our tiny snowman. We could have made it bigger but I wasn't feeling up to bending over any more then I had to.

They were a little cold in their wimpy clothes but they didn't care at all. They have been asking me for snow all winter and I have told them it would probably never happen. Looks like I was wrong on this one.
