Always Falling benind!!

Seems I can never stay caught up when it comes to blogs, face book, emails, or just anything on the computer. I really don't enjoy staring at a screen so I put it off way too much. Live have been packed with fun holiday fun, a trip to Idaho, and a getaway to Mexico. Christmas was great and relaxing!! We enjoyed spending time with some of the great friends we have made around here.

New Years my hubby let me go home to Idaho with no kids to spend time with my little sister before she headed out for her mission. Silly part is she will be serving in the Fort Worth, Texas mission. She could end up in my stake!! We had so much fun hanging out for 6 days, staying up too late, shopping, talking, and enjoying every minute!! I miss her already!! She always had the cutest FB posts!! I love the example she is setting for my children though, she is the most amazing girl ever!!

Terrence earned a trip to Mexico from work so we went looking forward to sunny beaches!! Well there was only one sunny day while we were there and we wore jackets most days to stay warm. It was so relaxing to just sit and be served every meal for 5 days, hang out at the spa, and go site seeing to Tulum. It was well needed and very enjoyable. My most amazing mom flew in to watch my kiddos and they loved their time with Grandma!! I owe many, many thanks to such a great mom!!

Now we have a new adventure ahead of us. Our ward split about a month ago so that meant new callings to serve in for all. Terrence was called to be the Elders Quorum President and I am in the Primary Presidency. I am adjusting to Terrence being gone before church for meetings and then again in the evening to visit families in the ward. Primary is an adventure all on its own, but as a presidency we are trying to pull it together and get the children to be more reverent. Wish us luck!!

Life is great and we are all healthy and happy around here. We are enjoying Texas and Terrence's mew position that allows him to be home so much more. Still trying to live the amazing motto I learned in General Conference a while back:

COME WHAT MAY, AND LOVE IT!!

What have we been up to?!

I have to say it is amazing how fast life can go from nice a relaxing to busy and crazy! With two in school, one in preschool, and the other just a crazy man we just don't stop some days. This weekend I played my last soccer game of the season and I really enjoyed getting back on the field. Now I have to decide if I want to play indoor. The kids and I went to the neighborhood fall festival this evening and we had fun. We went early enough that we avoided long lines and that made all the difference in the world. This is McKayl's cute face painting from the event.

About a month ago Maddyson came in from playing outside to tell us there was a double rainbow, so I decided to try out my photo skills and this is the best I came up with from my location. It really was a neat view!
Maddyson and Scott have a really fun school and they came up with the idea of doing themes for their awards assembly. This one was rock star and even the teachers really got into it. They had a lady come in and sing some really fun songs for the kids, and they made it really feel like it was a special event for the kids. I don't think my kids will ever forget it.

I am the third counselor, as some of you know, in our primary of 150 kids. I am really enjoying my call but I really enjoy getting through with every activity we have. I guess this ward has a pioneer event every year so that was the theme. No I did not dress my kids up because I am the lazy mom who doesn't do well with dress up. We had fun though and it is yet another event off the list.

We are down one fun filled weekend and looking forward to the next 2 fun filled weekends to come. I am sure everyone is busy with fall festivals and I hope you all enjoy them!

First day of school

We finally captured the moment. Every year Maddyson goes off to school and we don't get a picture of her first day. This year I was determined and we did it. We just hope for a good year!!

One more birthday girl

The last birthday for July and we had lots of fun once again. She had to wait for Daddy to get back from Oklahoma to get her cake/cupcakes, but she was very patient. McKayl is our fun loving, smile lights up the room, big helper, sweet spirited little girl. Even though I wasn't quite sure I was ready for number 3 to pop into our lives when I first found out I was pregnant with her, I am glad she came when she did. I thank my Heavenly Father each day for the sweet spirit he has sent me. Happy Birthday McKayl!!

Life

It has been a really long time since I posted pictures so I tried to take a little from each adventure we have had lately. We had a fun time visiting family in Idaho before we came back to Texas. Terrence and I try to make visits to the Grandparents as often as possible so the kids can get to know them and love them. My mom came back with us to help unpack and play with the kids a little longer. Last weekend we headed up to Little Rock to hang out with our good friends Andrea and Erik and there 2 cute girls. We had lots of fun playing out in the sun and beating them at our new favorite game Quirkle. I know this is all over the place but that is life right?
This was just an awesome shot of Scott playing in the water. McKayls face is pretty funny!

On the road to visit friends in Little Rock

Playing in the small backyard. If there is no water it is just too hot to play outside.

Sorry it is sideways! Hanging out with Grandma on the stairs. They love the stairs!

We made it!!

Oh how nice it is to be back to my life, even if it isn't all put together yet, I am on my way! We miss family so very much but very grateful Grandma could come with us. Whenever I have her around I always wonder how I make it without her. My mom is amazing!! The house is bigger then I have ever had before but it doesn't make it any easier to find a place for everything. The kids love having stairs for once in their lives and I only like them for the little bit of exercise I get from going up and down them all day. I will get pictures posted as soon as I get a life a little more under control.
